  I have dined in too many restaurants where the food was improperly prepared. Tonight I had a patty melt that had a one slice of American cheese. The menu said Swiss Cheese. Although I asked for extra onions they came out dripping in oil and not nearly done. I sent it back and the order was returned with runny onions and bread that haven't been properly grilled. The waitress was pleasant and refunded my entire dinner price of although I had consumed a salad and a glass of frozen orange juice. The worst part was when I explained to the manager that that was not the way a patty melt is to be prepared. His only response was to me and I quote, "I understand." He did not offer an apology. He appeared irritated as I suggested that a patty melt should be prepared differently. He stoically returned with the comment " I understand." Totally unsatisfactory.

  We ordered take out, Worst decision because their takeout boxes required cooks to pile food together on top making the presentation disgusting.. more like truck stop food. One order was the steak and eggs. A slab of meat so severely marbled in fat their was hardly meat on this piece however the meat there was had literally no flavor. No salt or pepper and asking for medium does not mean put the steak on at the same time as everything else it means slightly pink whereas our meat came home grey and disgusting. The next dish was the eggs hash browns and ham with a cheese "sauce" with everything being "homemade" I really doubted this "sauce" could be also.. I was correct. I got folded eggs on top of cold hash browns and clearly store bought cubed ham that was chewy and gross and the sauce was like kraft macaroni sauce orange and warm too basically.. the best part was the soggy toast and peanut butter.. oh and the store bought cheesecake they displayed as homemade also.. worst money ever spent.
